Ebola disease in Uganda

On 23 May 2026, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported three additional cases of Ebola disease (EBOD) caused by the Bundibugyo virus. This brings the total number reported in Uganda to five, with a health worker amongst those affected. Please see our Topics in Brief article for further details on Ebola disease.
